PALUTTAはデザイナーが拠点を置くスイス・グラウビュンデン州の料理の慣習と類型学をもとにデザインされたホームユースのキッチンツール。
日常的に使用するキッチンツールを拡張させたこの作品は、地域に古くから伝わる手彫りの道具の要素を解釈し、受け継ぎ、洗練された形に変化させました。伝統的な職人の技術と新しい製造方法の融合により、CNCのフライス加工を極限まで追求し、美しい輪郭、機能性、手触りの良さを実現しています。

Palutta is a collection of kitchen utensils, based on typologies and culinary customs from the Swiss Alpine region of the Grisons – the home to Carlo Clopath. With the aim to create an expandable collection of everyday tools, Carlo Clopath has translated the archaic language inherent to hand carved utensils into a refined vocabulary of shapes. By combining traditional craftsmanship techniques with new manufacturing processes, he pushed the limits of CNC wood milling to achieve fine contours and enhance functionalities, as well as tactile properties.
